Chrome-free leather is soft and lightweight. It comes from farms located in southern Brazil. It has undergone an innovative tanning process during which no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are used.
The use of chemicals is limited, as are energy and water use (about 40%) and salt (80%). After tanning, the water is recyclable.
